Marjorie Green Turner is the youngest daughter of Donarell R. Green Jr., a notable doctor for Black women in Athens, Georgia. Marjorie and her sister were some of the first Black children to integrate local public schools. In this interview she shares some of her memories of segregation and desegregation. She also comments on the state of racial progress in Athens and her feelings about the racial climate almost 60 years after desegregation.
