Robert A. "Cheney" Griffin interviewed by Hal Henderson. Griffin was the executive aide to his brother, Gov. Marvin Griffin and also served as the mayor of Bainbridge, Ga. In this interview, topics include Griffin's role as aide to his brother Governor Marvin Griffin, the relationship between Vandiver and Marvin Griffin before he was governor (1955-1959), the rural roads issue, Vandiver’s criticism of Griffin’s tenure as governor, Marvin Griffin’s 1962 run for governor, and Vandiver as governor.
