Showyn Walton, who goes by the name Al Gorjus Buddah, was born in 1971 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He got his start in the Athens artist scene through breakdancing and hip-hop before expanding into stand-up comedy and painting. In this interview Walton discusses his early life and artistic influences, detailing his evolution as an artist.
